People get them.
Automobiles are required by law to get them every year.
Why not a House?
A home wellness check is an inspection of your house top to bottom including all of its many subsystems including roof, attic, heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical.
The written report does not include cosmetic issues. It will include things that really matter such as minor defects that may lead to major problems. Such as a small roof-flashing leak, or a structural failure. Also included are safety hazards that may not be obvious.
How’s your roof? When’s the last time you were in the attic? New roof but how’s the insulation and ventilation system working? By the way did the roofer forget to flash something, correctly!
Help lower your energy costs, and maybe help prevent mold from forming in the attic and contaminating the air you breathe.
It’s best to have a ‘Generalist’ like myself, a professional home inspector, do the initial check and recommend further action only if necessary. Don’t rely solely on contracting specialists. They just want to sell you something.
